Farmer's markets resume after a brief closure due to the Toronto garbage strike.  New arrangements have been made so that the markets can remain open and vendors will take care of the over garbage.

Farmer's markets and schedule across the GTA:

• North York Civic Centre: Thursdays 8am to 2pm, starting July 2
• Etobicoke Civic Centre: Saturdays 8am to 2pm, starting July 4
• East York Civic Centre: Tuesdays 8am to 2pm, starting July 7
• Scarborough Civic Centre: Tuesdays 8am to 2:30pm, starting July 7
• Nathan Phillips Square: Wednesdays 8am to 2:30pm, starting July 8
