Lenovo's latest ThinkPad T400s contains something that would surprise you! It is not how thinner or lighter rather it focus on BIG - BIGGER Escape and Delete button. Nevertheless, the 14.1-inch ThinkPad is remarkable with its 0.83-inches thickness and weight just under four pound.

Inside the ThinkPad you will find Lenovo's heralded roll cage technology, a 2.53GHz Core 2 Duo processor, choice of 128GB SSD or 250GB HDD, a 9.5mm slim DVD burner or Blu-ray player, a multitouch trackpad, Ethernet, WiFi, optional WiMAX / WWAN / Bluetooth / ultra-wideband, an ExpressCard slot or 5-in-1 card reader, a battery good for six hours and VGA outputs. It supports Lenovo's ConstantConnect and Protect technology as well as a built-in USB / eSATA port.

The ideal behind the bigger button is to improve overall user experiences. Lenovo's engineer spent a year in researching the keyboard layout and decided to improve it. On average a user hits both keys 700 times a week. Other new feature in the T400s includes tightened keys, for keeping dust and pizza crumbs from falling in between the cracks.

"This is just the beginning," said Francisco Carias, product manager for Lenovo's ThinkPad series. Going forward, all ThankPad laptops will be based on the redesigned keyboard.
